Rubáiyát Series Central Victorian Reserve Shiraz 2007 — case of 12
The first of Norbertson Vintners’ Rubáîyát series, inspired by Edward Fitzgerald’s 1859 translation of the Rubáîyát of Omar Khayyám, illustrated by Gilbert James, this venerable 2007 Central Victorian Shiraz, from renowned winemaker David Traeger, is itself a classic.
A well-matured Shiraz with the depth of fruit, integration and longevity one would expect from low‑yielding, dry‑grown vineyards.
Sourced from vineyards in Central Victoria, with a major component from the Nagambie Lakes Region. Each vineyard component adds the varying influence of terroir, ripeness, and flavours to the wine.
Maturation in fine Nevers and Allier oak has given further complexity, allowing the wine to be cellared and enjoyed with confidence in years to come.
$324 for a case of 12 (@ $27 per bottle)
